What's the Scoop?

(practice the /j/ and /o/ sound, finding Jj/Oo words, and writing Jj/Oo correctly)
Sight words:, my, no  (practice reading and writing these words daily)

Books: My Puppy
Math: counting to 50, reading/writing numbers 1-20
**practice sounding out and spelling 3-4 letter words***

1) Complete the packet sent home , due Friday 10/18
2) Practice reading the little readers, and weekly sight words EVERY DAY

FUN RUN UPDATE
*On Friday, Boosterthon collection envelopes were sent home. If your child wasn't here on Friday, you will be receiving your envelope today. Pledges need to be collected by Thursday, October 17. If you have any out of state/country pledges, remember those friends can pay their amount online at www.funrun.com.

FRIDAY, Oct. 18- Story Book Parade @ 8:30/early release @ 11:45am
Please pack a lunch for your child, we will have lunch in our rooms and then have dismissal
(if your child is in the YMCA, please make sure you send a note by Wednesday,  how they will be dismissed on this day, as the YMCA will not be open this Friday 10/18)
Oct. 21-25- Red ribbon week
Oct. 29- Fall picture retakes
Nov. 4- 50th day of school (dress up like a person in the 50's would)
Nov. 13- Spring Creek BBQ night
Nov. 22- Thanksgiving feast @ 11am
